Memcached คือการทำ cache บน memory ที่เพื่อให้สามารถเข้าใช้งานได้โดยง่ายและรวดเร็วเพื่อลดการ query ไปที่ database และเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการทำงานของ application

Install memcached
#cd /usr/ports/databases/memcached
#make install clean
#vi /etc/rc.conf

ทดสอบการทำงาน

ได้คำตอบอย่างนี้ memcached ก็ทำงานแ ล้วครับ
ส่วนค่า Parameter ต่างๆเป็นดังนี้ครับ
-d = รัน memcached เป็น daemon (background)
-m MiB = ขนาดของ cache หน่วยเป็น Megabyte (Default 64MB)
-l IP = IP ที่จะรอรับ Request
-p Port = Port ที่จะรอรับ Request
-u Username = ให้ memcached run ด้วย user อะไร (ทำได้ก็ต่อเมื่อ run memcached ด้วย root)

เสร็จแล้ว save แล้วลองสั่งลงโปรแกรมใหม่ รับรองผ่านฉลุย!!

To get sendmail to regenerate aliases, the virtual user table and other stuff, run make on its own like so:

After running “make” on its own, sendmail automatically reads all the files so you shouldn’t need to restart sendmail yourself at this point.
